Technology is a very interesting world to explore. From the complexities to the broad applications where it could be utilized, it is no doubt that technology and different advancements linked to it have captured the curiosity of so many people.
Electronics is usually the core of technology and sometimes such products are usually used for high-end applications such as Industrial Computing. This field requires the appropriate embedded hardware to serve its purpose in medical, gaming, transportation, identification and other fields.
Embedded technology is expected to dominate the mentioned fields in the near future. An Embedded Computer is specifically designed to perform one or a few certain functions that usually involve real-time computing. Embedded systems are usually placed in machines which are expected to have a long service life without errors. Thus, manufacturing and testing of embedded computers are a lot tougher and more crucial than that of a personal computer.
Under embedded computers is RFID which allows identification and access without contact. RFIDs are expected to replace bar code system because it could function at greater distances and frequencies up to 2.4 GHz. Many developments were already made to promote RFID technology such as the device whose size is 0.05×0.05 mm which could even be embedded in a sheet of paper. This was unveiled by Hitachi in 2007.
