Keeping your own list of contacts and resources is good for your business. Though there is no current need for them keeping them for future use will avoid some hassle and wasting your time. An attorney search is probably useless to you now but you’ll never know when you will need one. Keeping contacts is not the only important thing. You should also establish a good relationship with them. This will probably give you better service or perhaps discounts for future transactions.
I can remember once when I needed supplies for my business badly. Though I have no direct contact that can provide me with such supplies, I knew someone who did. This person who referred the supplier to me was a previous customer whom I’ve established a good relationship with. Anyway, just make sure to have something ready so you can use it and you won’t be caught off guard when the need arises. If you don’t have enough time to do it, ask some of your staff to do it for you.
